Dragonfly IMG_1136

Oviedo, FL: They just find me.  Just outside my back patio there is a single branch on my bay tree whose tip is leaf-less. This is the dragonfly photo studio. Daily, they parade past, jockeying for position on the tip of this branch. One will sit for a while, tilt his head this way and that, and if I’m not quick enough, he impatiently flies away. He circles around once or twice to give me time to think about what I just missed, then comes back, repositions himself and waits. He would do this all day. I am always the one to walk away. Passive aggressive narcissists. And I love them.
