In a little corner of India is an intentional, international community called Auroville. It was founded by The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. On the property is a golden dome they call the orb. In it sits a giant crystal upon which people gaze and concentrate. They must apply for entrance. Interesting place.

It could be anything. It could be anywhere. It is a granary, a very old granary still standing at the Rajagir Fort in southern India. The fort was first constructed in the 9th century and mostly destroyed, then rebuilt in the 13th century.
A small cattle egret perches between two great egrets on an old wizened branch on a misty morning. Originally I was disappointed the day was so overcast and on the edge of rainy, but I found many opportunities to capture much moodier shots than if the sun had been shining brightly.
