One Word Photo Challenge – Persimmon

13 Tiruvannamalai IMG_5086

Persimmon. While technically they refer to this color as saffron in India, it is much closer to persimmon, especially new. This Siddha’s dhoti (long cloth that wraps like a skirt) is a little faded from the sun and age, I suspect.

    1. Me too. A bright marigoldish yellow. Maybe it’s darker in India. 🙂 Thanks for the challenges, it encourages me to take new photos as well as time travel back through past photos and journeys. Always a pleasure.
