Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Wood/Spring

Not far from my home is an alligator infested lake that I love to haunt. There is something life-affirming about witnessing prehistoric creatures move and live in their natural habitat. The other gift of this nearly unspoiled environment are the majestic nests the osprey build in the tall dead trees. There is always something magical to find in nature.

    1. They’re not so bad. Mostly they just lay there or float around. If you approach one on the bank it will usually run back into the water. If it doesn’t, it might be prudent to find another route. They’re pretty spectacular, really.
